What does The Shopping Number cost?

There is no cost to use The Shopping Number.

If it doesn't cost anything then what's your angle?

We find value in understanding what companies are buying and selling consumer data and how that data is enriched and resold, especially long after it is relevant or for uses the consumer did not intend. Mapping the way consumer data travels between companies is valuable to regulators, legal researchers, and compliant companies wanting to improve their own data operations. If that economic model ever changes we will be forthright and update it here.

How do you keep businesses from getting my phone number if I end up contacting them? Don't they have caller ID?

You will be sent a short list of transfer phone numbers to be reconnected with the offers you are actually looking for. The business will see a Shopping Number transfer number rather than your personal phone number.

How do I know you won't spam text and call me forever?

We don’t make money by advertising to you or selling your contact information. You can text DONE when you’re finished shopping, and STOP at any time to stop service messages.

Who is behind The Shopping Number?

How does it work?

An AI agent will answer phone calls and texts to your ShoppingNumber to identify which businesses are contacting your Shopping Number and what they’re contacting you about. The agent will eliminate off-topic offers and send up to three relevant ones in a single SMS message to your real phone number. You choose if you want to contact any of them.

What happens when I'm done shopping?

Text DONE when you’re finished shopping. This closes the current shopping session. You can text STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages from The Shopping Number.
